Govt asked to publish white paper on Bangabandhu killers

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Sunday urged the government to publish a white paper on those who were beneficiary of the killing of Bangabandhu and provided the perpetrators of the crime.

The association made the appeal at a general meeting held at the south hall of the association.

The SCBA leaders also asked the government to bring the absconding convicts of the Bangabandhu murder case back to the country immediately and to execute their death sentences.

The association adopted a resolution on the decisions of the meeting saying that the historic verdict of the Supreme Court (SC) in this case has opened an epoch-making chapter in establishing rule of law in the country.

The meeting congratulated the SC judgment.

The resolution said if the judiciary to play courage and determined role in future, it will be easy to continue the process for establishing democracy and rule of law.
